Over a 15-year career, Cennydd Bowles has written a popular book, Undercover User Experience Design, been a design manager at Twitter and helped to pioneer the British experience design scene. He’s now an independent design consultant, working with clients like the BBC, Samsung, WWF and Ford.
Cennydd’s focus today is on the ethics of emerging technology. His thoughts on the topic have been quoted in The Guardian, Ars Technica, The Daily Telegraph, Süddeutsche Zeitung, and Forbes; his new book Future Ethics will be published in mid-2018.
Cennydd is an invited speaker at conferences and companies worldwide and also runs training workshops on visual design, motion design and prototyping for a range of clients. He has written for a variety of print and web publications, been a columnist for A List Apart and edited the book Front-end Style Guides.
He holds an M.Sc. in information technology from The University of Nottingham, and now lives in London with his wife Anna and cat Beemo.
